Caliber .50 Inbore Rebuild Program
GUNMASTERS' advisor, SGM(R) Jack Walentine, built the first Caliber .50 Tank Inbore Device, used by the US Army and Army National Guard, when he was assigned to the National Guard High Technology Training Center, Fort Dix, NJ in the early 1980s. The first caliber .50 Inbores in 105mm were subsequently named the WALENTINE Inbore Device. There are many of these Caliber .50 Tank Inbore Devices currently in service in 105mm and 120mm. As units field newer M1 series tanks, the WALENTINE 105mm/120mm Caliber .50 Inbores are often stored or turned in for disposal. In most cases, the 105mm/120mm WALENTINE Caliber .50 Inbore can be rebuilt by GUNMASTERS to a modern 120mm device saving the unit significant time and expense. Rebuilt WALENTINE Inbores will be chambered for NATO standard Caliber .50 as well as M903/M962 SLAP/SLAP-T.

GUNMASTERS Defense Systems provides an unlimited warranty on all of its rebuilt Caliber .50 Tank Inbore Devices for a full 5 years from the date of return delivery to the owning unit. If any part breaks within the 5 year period (including solenoids), GUNMASTERS will repair or replace the part at no cost to the user. Shipping costs must be paid by the using unit.

BROKEN BOLT HANDLE REPAIR
Many of the old Cal.50 Inbores had problems with broken bolt handles. The handles have to be removed, chamfered, rethreaded, and TIG welded with care not to warp the bolt housing. Warping or weld burrs leave an inoperative bolt!
